Community Regional Ministry (MCRM)

We are a multi-national, multicultural, Seventh-day Adventist group that practices diversity and inclusion. In harmony with our beliefs, we are committed to a demonstration of love, through acceptance.

We believe that every person is valued and should be treated with dignity and respect.

2023-2024 Theme

In 2020, we introduced, Next Level, as our two-year theme to encourage us not to be satisfied with mediocrity. This theme served as a constant reminder to move our lives and relationships in an upward trajectory.

As we journey into 2023, Missoula Community Regional Ministry is excited to launch our new theme, Staying Connected. The use of the word, staying, is purposeful as it is designed to convey a continuous action and an ongoing event that was, is, and will be in progress. We are, therefore, being intentional in our focus on the importance, value, and necessity of staying connected.

There are multiple domains of staying connected: staying connected with God and humanity, (incl. staying connected with family, friends, & church community). Staying connected also transcends just relationships to include staying connected with our finances, staying connected with our emotions, staying connected with our growth and development, staying connected with our education, staying connected with love, joy, and happiness, etc.

The importance of staying connected is not just staying connected with all the positive aspects of life, but it involves staying connected with challenging, difficult moments that we would rather ignore; recognizing that by staying connected with those moments, it will serve as a springboard for us to develop our characters, grow with our God, and within our community.

Again, as we journey through 2023, let us commit to staying connected with all aspects of our lives.

About Seventh-day Adventists

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church. It seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.

When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.

Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures.

The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration.

The inspired authors spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to humanity the knowledge necessary for salvation.

The Holy Scriptures are the supreme, authoritative, and the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the definitive revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history.
